5/2 FIFO roster calendar

5/2 here means 5 days on, 2 days off, repeating, so a cycle is 5 days on site followed by 2 days at home. That makes the cycle 7 days long, about 52.1 cycles a year, with 71% of days on site. In 2027 the work days come to 260 to 261, depending on where in the cycle you start; set your start date below for your own count.

This is a repeating 5 on, 2 off cycle. It lines up with Monday to Friday only if you set the start date to a Monday.

Over a year there are about 52.1 cycles of 7 days, giving about 37.2 weeks of work days and 14.9 weeks of days off. Travel days apply to the first and last day of each 5-day block, so turning them on marks about 105 days a year. Because the cycle is 1 week long, the weekday pattern repeats every week.
